Therapy Options
Individual TherapyIndividual speech and language services, social-language services, fine motor, and music therapy are offered.
Individual sessions are typically scheduled in increments of 45 minutes. Frequency of sessions depend on the individual needs of your child. Some children receive services more than once a week, some children receive services once a month, and some children receive services weekly. Each therapy plan is individualized and based on your child and your family's needs. |
Small and Large Group TherapySmall group therapy (2-3 children) is offered for children that focus on social-emotional skills, play skills, articulation, and in the areas of music therapy.
Children with similar skills and areas of need are placed in groups together. Small group therapy sessions are often 45 minutes and occur once a week. Large group sessions are offered in the summer, fall, and winter for children in early childhood and for children in elementary school. Large groups focus on social-emotional development, social-language, expressive language, play, and fine motor skills. Most large group sessions are 120 minutes and have enrollment for 8-12 children, depending on the class. |
