"Hands-On Handwriting"

Kindergarten - 3rd grade (5-8 years of age)

In "Hands-On Handwriting" your child will take an exciting, multi-sensory approach to handwriting. 

This group is perfect for kids, approximately ages 5-8 years old, who are ready to engage in group learning. This group will focus primarily on correct letter formation, fine motor strength and endurance, and beginning to write words and sentences. In this group, we will engage in a wide variety of multi-sensory activities to work on the following skills necessary for and directly related to successful, functional and legible handwriting: core strength and coordination, fine motor strength and dexterity, visual motor and visual spatial skills, functional pencil grip, correct formation of upper and lower case letters, and appropriate sizing and spacing when writing words and sentences.
