This group will meet Monday July 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 5:00-6:30.
Join Occupational Therapist, Michelle Sindorf, and Music Therapist, Emilyjane Eichman for a four week journey into mindfulness.
Children will practice mindfulness through music, art, movement, breathing and meditation.
The children will also be introduced to mindful eating with a healthy snack.
The group is perfect for children 6 and older who would benefit from improving emotional literacy and regulation skills, decreasing anxiety, managing stress, and increasing attention to task.
This group works best for children who are able to follow a group plan, are working on verbalizing and expressing their emotions, have an interest in music/art and are ready to work on making mindful choices to help regulate themselves.
