In "Get Set for School-Handwriting without Tears" your child will take an exciting, multi-sensory approach to learning about their letters.
The group will use developmentally appropriate strategies to teach readiness skills such as writing, matching, and letter recognition.
The Handwriting without Tears programs breaks each letter into smaller parts to give students an understanding of how letters are made and written. Each session your child will participate in meaningful lessons and activities associated with the featured letter of the week. Activities include building the letter with a variety of sensory materials, hearing the letter name and sound in multiple forms to accommodate a variety of learning styles, and other engaging lessons!
This class will be led by Sarah Eller, occupational therapist, and Marena Mitchell, speech-language pathologist
