Summer Camps in Gladstone, Missouri
This summer, at our Gladstone location, we are offering one week summer camps.
Our camps will occur during the following weeks:
June 15, 2020 - June 19, 2020
June 22, 2020 - June 26, 2020
July 13, 2020 - July 17, 2020
July 20, 2020 - July 24, 2020
Each camp occurs Monday-Friday. Each day, your child will attend for 90 minutes. Each class is facilitated by Keelin Althoff, speech-language pathologist, and a group assistant.
Each camp is a total of $168.75
On average, most students receive 40-60 minutes of therapy/week in school. In a one week BTH camp, your child will receive over 7.5 hours of therapy - that is equivalent to over 8 weeks of therapy in school condensed into one week.
Classes are organized for children to be able to access multiple camps. Sign up for one or multiple camps. If you sign up for two or more consecutive camps (e.g. "Say & Play Camp" and "Literacy & Art"), we will provide your child a snack, a bathroom break, and supervised play in our gross motor room during the 15 minutes break.
If this is your child's first group at Bringing Therapy Home, you will be contacted by one of the facilitators to discuss your child’s strengths and specific needs of your child. This information will be utilized to plan and develop the activities used for the group sessions. You do not need to receive current services from Bringing Therapy Home to register for the group classes. Group classes are open to the community.
If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or receives services from an outside provider, please let us know what your child's goals are and we can embed the goals into the group activities.
*** A minimum of 4 kids need to register for the group to occur
*** Missed group sessions are not reimbursed
*** Payment for groups is made in full on the first day of groups
