Does your child want to be the one that always creates the plan? Does your child need help in initiating with others to share his/her idea? Does your child have difficulty developing a plan? Does your child sometimes ignore others because he/she is focused on what they want to accomplish?

I
n "Working Together," children will explore concepts from Social Thinking by working together to create projects using Straws and Connectors, Legos, and building blocks.

"Game Skills"

Does your child become mad if they did not win the game? Does your child cheat when playing games with others? Does your child's body leave the group when they are playing a game with another child? Does your child only want to play the game they selected? Does your child have difficulty understanding the rules of games?

During the winter months, children often engage in games with friends during indoor recess and/or during play dates. Having a strong understanding of how to play a variety of games is essential.

In this class, the kids will learn to initiate with a peer by asking them to play, remain with the peer during the duration of the activity, understand the rules of the game they are playing, lose and win appropriately, and play "non-preferred games."
