Click here to Every week, families welcome me into their homes to provide speech and language services to their child. Because of the model at Bringing Therapy Home, I am in a position to really get to know each family member, especially the moms. Today, as we celebrate Mother's Day, I want those moms to know this: I may be in your home to teach your child a specific skill, but, each time I'm there, I'm learning from you. I watch as your eyes light up when your child enters the room. I see the way you help encourage and promote their independence. I hear the absolute love you have for your child when you speak to them. I observe your child's
smile as you interact together. I am in awe because of the sincere connections I see between you and your child. Today, I'm not just thinking of my own mom, but I'm thinking of you too - ever so grateful your child gets to have you as their mom. Happy Mother's Day.
